What an experience my wife and I had in Intercourse, PA. We had hoped to encounter scrapple at some point in our travels and are glad we stopped by Amos Place. It was our first time trying this mysterious meat log and by golly won't be out last. They fried it to perfection like a piece of spam in a cast iron on a crisp summer day. It tastes like a cross between breakfast sausage and Cajun boudin meets spam. The woman at the register recommended we have it on the homemade rolls and I'd say that was the way to go. If you find yourself in Intercourse, stop for the breakfast sandwich with scrapple. Shout out to them good ole' kitchen folk frying and making dreams come true. (P.S whoever is responsible for the oat cinnamon roll aromas being wafted in the air should be apprehended immediately)
Made a quick stop in for lunch. Ordered a cheesesteak and a turkey hoagie. Both were delicious and well prepared. It was a bit crowded when we went and they were doing some remodeling so not many places to sit, luckily the weather was good so we sat outside. I would definitely return to try some of their other options.
Incredibly quaint.Place you order and have a seat and then the lady will bring out the food to you. The foods are fresh. We ate here for lunch and breakfast and enjoyed both meals. It's connected to their grocery store next door and passes through. When you sit down, you will find yourself sitting with Amish folks having breakfast there as well. The service is friendly and the folks you can tell take pride in what they do.
This is an awesome place where you can grab something to eat or shop for lots of grocery items. The shop was extremely busy and seating was limited. You need to order your food in line and pick it up when your name is called. Mine came quickly, but my friends had a wait for theirs. Not sure if we would eat here again just for the fact that it was so crowded.
The twisted turkey on a pretzel roll was amazing. Got it with a side of cheese curds with homemade ranch dipping sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted!
Delicious food! You can grab a bite and shop meats, cheeses and goodies! The hot picken chicken sandwich was amazing, loved the pickle relish and the chicken was moist and crispy! Hubby said the sausage cheese steak was awesome and he like his side of macaroni salad, we got some to take home. Great variety of menu options at decent prices.
This was our second visit here for lunch. Great food as before and we were happy to see alot more seating than the first time we visited.
This was our second time eating at Amos' Place and it was just as great as the first. The Super Stoltzfus Wrap was amazing and loaded with meat. My daughter loved the Cheeseburger! Can't wait to go back
